I first found out I was pregnant with you on my first day back to school in September 2010. Your dad and I were so excited and couldn't wait to tell everyone! (: Nine months later you were born on May 16, 2011 at 11:31 a.m., weighing in at 8 pounds 3 ounces and 21 inches. It was a quick birth...3 hours start to finish! What a magical moment when you arrived and we all said, "it's a boy!" We named you Clive (because we liked the name..means cliff dweller in Scottish) Paul (after your late Uncle Paul...you will hear all about him some day. Also your Great-Grandfather was named Paul...he was a very special person, too. ) and Herrick (your last name!).
We loved you from the moment your parents told us they were expecting. For some reason, we all were pretty sure you were a boy. And what a handsome baby you were, from the very start. You have so much personality already and we want to be such a part of your life. We will always be willing and happy to tell you about your middle name, Paul, and the wonderful person he was.
